JOURNEY TO THE CROSS

Easter is at the very heart of the gospel. We remember the death and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus each year as we enter this season and read the Scriptures. It is a very exciting and enriching time! This year, we plan to remember and celebrate a little differently than we have in the past. Join us at FBCSA as we experience Easter in a new way through “Journey to the Cross."

STATIONS

At “Journey to the Cross”, you will visit interactive stations, following along Jesus’ journey to the cross, designed to foster discussion and reflection for everyone (kids included) on the true meaning of the events leading up to Resurrection Sunday. You may visit the stations as a family, a small group, or individually through this “come-and-go” event. The stations include:

- Triumphal Entry

- The Last Supper

- Foot Washing

- The Garden

- Trial Before Pilate

- The Cross

- The Tomb

- Reflection

WHAT TO EXPECT

As you visit stations, guides will help you get started and provide you with discussion questions and multi-sensory activities aimed at preschoolers, elementary kids, and adults to help encourage discussion and reflection throughout the evening. It will be a night you won’t want to miss! To fully experience this night, please allow 30 - 45 minutes to go through the “Journey to the Cross.”
