Welcome to First Baptist's Preschool Ministry
Jesus told the story of two men - one who built his house on rock,
and one who built his house on sand.
The house which stood firm when storms arose was
the house built on a solid foundation.
We believe that the preschool years provide the
foundations of faith. Studies show that the basic elements
of a person's character are formed in their early years.
These formative years help build what will one day be
either a strong house of faith, or a shaky foundation.
At First Baptist, through Bible study and purposeful, instructive play,
we teach preschoolers the essentials for building a house of faith:
1) God cares for me and has a plan for my life,
2) Jesus is God's Son who loves me,
3) The Bible is God's true Word and is given for my teaching,
4) God wants me to care for others
5) God wants me to be a part of a church.
We are committed to partnering with families to help lay the
foundation necessary for Biblical learning.
