January 2009 – Strategic Recommendations
Our mission is to follow our Lord Jesus Christ and
to lead all others to a joyful life with Him.
1. To concentrate on excellence and growth in SUNDAY SCHOOL. (New “venture” SS, intentional SS leadership enlistment, training and inspiration, annual strategic review and design.)
2. To concentrate on progress toward excellence in FACILITIES. (CTV report, preschool, deferred maintenance, adults on 3rd floor [safety], choir rehearsal space, use of volunteer help.)
3. To concentrate on EVANGELISM and MISSIONS. (Karen opportunity, Spanish/Hispanic opportunity, “downtown” opportunity, Haven for Hope, RiverNorth.)
4. To reach people through WORSHIP. (TV Ministry, technology, use strength of traditional worship, continue to assess needy/opportunities.)
5. To develop/implement a cohesive COMMUNICATION strategy. (Review staff structure relationship to lay leadership.)
6. To attract, nurture, and develop YOUNG FAMILIES and YOUNG SINGLES).
