September 6 – we move from one Sunday School to 2!

NEW SCHEDULE:
8:15 Pastor’s Class (no youth/children/preschool classes offered this hour)
9:30 Worship I (Youth Choir/Salters-Rutherfords…meets in the Sanctuary)
9:30 CORE Sunday School (traditional Sunday School; children/preschool
classes offered)
10:50 VENTURE Sunday School (Contemporary praise…meets in Chapel then
divides into age-graded classes. All youth classes meet this hour.)
11:00 Worship II (Sanctuary Choir…meets in the Sanctuary)
Most members will continue in a traditional schedule. Over 300 people have been willing to help start the second Sunday School. We believe that God will use all of our members to reach out to others and include them in a meaningful community of Bible study, friendship, and ministry.
Parents of youth… While we honor your freedom to choose either schedule, our hope and prayer is that you will attend worship and Sunday School with your teenager during the years he/she is at home (Venture schedule). We think this decision will pay rich dividends to your family in the years ahead.
New classes have been grouped using the Congregational Survey information provided earlier in the year. The new class lists will be available in August. |
