First Kids Parents
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 6:4-9
We love to teach your kids here at FBCSA! Watching kids grow physically, mentally, and spiritually is a huge part of why we do what we do, but we can’t do it without you. Our biggest job is to equip you as parents and guardians to continue to lead your kids at home throughout the week.
Use the resources below to find help, ideas, and info to lead your kids well in the time you have with them – no matter if that time is while you are driving, going to bed, eating, or running errands!

Kids in Worship
At FBCSA, we believe that it is of utmost importance that kids be a part of authentic worship to catch the passion for worshipping God.
Kids achieve this most often and most easily by observing you as their parent or guardian. You get to show your kids what it is like to worship our Awesome Heavenly Father!
But, we know that this can seem difficult sometimes, even daunting. So, here are some tips and some help to equip you to lead your kids well in worship.

Reading the Bible with Your Kids
Making Scripture reading a more prevalent and central part of your time together as a family will help your kids see that God's Word is important. This, in turn, may help them remember to read God's Word more as they get older and grow closer to God. Click this link to find out more information.
